The Supreme Court of Ohio has announced the July 2025 Ohio Bar Examination will take place in three locations across the state.

The July 2025 exam will be held at the following locations:

  • Cincinnati
University of Cincinnati College of Law
2925 Campus Green Dr., Cincinnati, OH 45221
  • Columbus
    Ohio Union
    1739 N. High St., Columbus, OH 43210
  • Cleveland
Cleveland State University College of Law
1801 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, OH 44115

For test-takers approved for accommodations testing, the examination will be held at OSU Moritz College of Law (Drinko Hall, 55 W. 12th Ave., Columbus, OH 43210).

Generally, test-takers who attended law school in Ohio will be assigned a testing location based on their law school. All others will be assigned based on residence address. Space permitting, Ohio law school-based assignments will be as follows:

  • Cincinnati: University of Cincinnati College of Law and University of Dayton School of Law.
  • Columbus: Moritz College of Law, Capital University Law School, and Ohio Northern University Claude W. Pettit College of Law.
  • Cleveland: Cleveland State University College of Law, University of Toledo College of Law, Case Western Reserve University School of Law, and University of Akron School of Law.

Columbus is the default location if space is not available at another location, and is the only location available for accommodations testing.

The Office of Bar Admissions will communicate final testing location assignments to each bar exam applicant prior to the exam. Applicants should ensure they are familiar with the specific location details and any logistical instructions provided by the Office of Bar Admissions. Additional information regarding examination registration and resources can be found on the Supreme Court’s FAQ section of the website.
