LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear reported another death related to flooding during a press briefing Thursday.
A 66-year-old man died in Carroll County, marking the seventh death related to the historic flooding in Kentucky.
Beshear said 70 of Kentucky's 120 counties have declared states of emergency.
"This is another reminder that it is still dangerous out there," the governor said. "Do not drive through water, do not drive around barricades, do not think that you can drive around where the mudslides or the landslides are. Please be careful."
The Ohio River has already crested in Louisville, but is still rising downstream. It's expected to crest in Owensboro and Henderson this weekend, and in Paducah next week.
