Set to debut on May 6th, the initiative coincides with the commencement of Charles County’s 2024 Business Appreciation Week.
The brainchild of Economic Development Director Kelly Robertson-Slagle, “With Love From Charles” aims to provide a sustainable means for residents and visitors to patronize participating local establishments. Robertson-Slagle explains, “While Business Appreciation Week is an annual opportunity to support and acknowledge our Charles County businesses, we were looking for an innovative way that our community could support local businesses all year long.”
Powered by Yiftee, a reputable digital gift card service endorsed for its financial security by Mastercard, the program simplifies the process of supporting local businesses. Upon purchase, the digital gift cards are promptly delivered via email, mirroring the convenience of traditional gift cards.
