Mass. State Lottery winner: $100,000 prize won at shop near KFC restaurant

A lottery player in Massachusetts won $100,000 on Sunday from a ticket they bought at a shop near a Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant.

The $100,000 prize was won during the lottery’s daily “Mass Cash” drawing. The winning numbers for the April 21 drawing were 1, 21, 23, 28 and 32.

The ticket that matched all five numbers to win $100,000 for the drawing was sold in Framingham from a shop called Moran’s Market. The shop is located in a plaza near several other establishments, including a the KFC franchise, according to Google Maps.

Overall, there were more than 218 prizes worth $600 or more won or claimed in Massachusetts on Sunday, including four in Springfield, five in Worcester and 10 in Boston.

The Massachusetts State Lottery releases a full list of winning tickets every day. The list only includes winning tickets worth more than $600.

So far, the seven largest lottery prizes won in Massachusetts in 2024 were each worth $4 million.
