HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker University Alumni Association will present its 2024 Alumni Awards, on Saturday April 27 during a noon luncheon held in the DeLoach Auxiliary Gym.
The distinguished awards are presented to individuals in recognition of their extraordinary achievement, outstanding character and exemplary service to the university and the community.
The Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award will be presented to Dr. Jane Norwood, Class of 1965. Norwood, retired professor from Appalachian State University, currently serves on the Coker Board of Trustees.
Seth Johnson, Class of 2012, will receive the Distinguished Alumni Service Award. Along with his brother, Greyson, Johnson is a photographer/videographer and the co-owner of Lochwood Studios.
Brianna Douglas, Class of 2001, will be recognized with the Outstanding Young Alumni Award. Douglas serves as the executive director of The Byerly Foundation.
