CLEVELAND, Ohio – Piada Italian Street Food is set to open in Mayfield Heights on Tuesday, Aug. 16.

Piada offers made-to-order meals with customizable options in three entrée types: The Piada (a wrap made from a thin crust Italian dough baked on a stone-grill, filled with assorted ingredients), pasta bowl or chopped salad.

The grand opening kicks off with a ribbon cutting at 10:30 a.m. with doors open 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m. at 6075 Mayfield Road, Mayfield Heights. Fifty percent of opening-day sales will benefit Julie Billiart School. The kindergarten-through-eighth-grade school aims to educate and empower students with mild to moderate autism, ADHD, anxiety, dyslexia and other learning disabilities.

The first 25 guests who make a purchase on opening day will be eligible to win one of 25 prizes, including free Piada for a year for five winners, $500 gift card and other gifts.

Additional opening-day highlights include a “happy hour” from 1 to 3 p.m. with free fountain drinks with purchase of an entrée. Also, kids eat free from 5 to 7 p.m. with the purchase of an adult entrée.

Columbus-based Piada launched in 2010 and has restaurants in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Texas and North Carolina. The Mayfield Heights location is the company’s eighth in Northeast Ohio.
