The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train will make a festive stop in Beaconsfield on Sunday, Nov. 26.

The CP Holiday Train will arrive at Beaconsfield train station, located at 104 Elm Ave., at around 8 p.m.

From 8:15 p.m. till 8:45 p.m. there will be musical performances from Colin James, Jonathan Roy and Emma-Lee.

The CP Holiday Train program was launched in 1999 and has since raised more than $13 million and collected four million pounds of food for communities along CP’s routes in Canada and the United States.

“The Holiday Train program is all about local food banks and food shelves and the critical role they play in our communities,” said Keith Creel, CP’s president and chief executive officer.

“People come for the beautifully lit train and stay for the incredible show – all in the name of community. The holiday season is the best time of the year, and we look forward to bringing together thousands of Canadians and Americans this season for this incredibly important cause and a great time.”

If you are driving to the Beaconsfield train station, keep in mind that a traffic and parking ban in the area will be in effect between 7 and 9 p.m.
