Three restaurants were given permits to sell beer by the City Beer Board on Thursday.

Pizza Brothers, 501 Cherokee Blvd., will serve beer to go along with New York style pizza.

Davis Wayne’s, 9454 Bradmore Lane, Suite #100, is a new “meat and three,” said owner Antonia Poland. She said food will be good, healthy and made from scratch. There also will be a full bar that can seat 30 people.

Poblanos Mexican Cuisine is opening with a new name and new owner at 551 River St., the previous location of  Poblanos Mexican Bar and Grill.

Owner Adrian De la Torre said the authentic Mexican food will be made from scratch. In the future, the business is planning to sell its own private brand of tequila and beer.
