Sia stuns fans with her fresh-faced appearance as she steps out without her famous wig for Ozark party in LA

Sia was almost unrecognisable as she stepped out without her famous face-covering wig on Tuesday night.

The singer, 42, stunned onlookers with her radiant complexion as she made a fresh-faced appearance at Netflix's Ozark taste-makers event in Los Angeles.

The Chandelier hitmaker is rarely seen without her wig, having revealed back in 2015 that she simply wants to create music without judgment over her looks or age.

The Australian singer was effortlessly stunning at the event, in a chic one-shouldered top and matching skinny jeans.

Jazzing the ensemble up with a leopard print belt, the chart-topper then tied her look together with a slick of red lipstick, in a finishing touch of glamour.

However, leaving her hair in loose waves and opting to ditch her famous wig, it was Sia's enviably youthful and glowing complexion that took centre stage, as she posed for cameras inside the APL restaurant in LA.

Sia is best known for her blunt blonde wig, which completely conceals her face as well as her natural hair.

Speaking to Interview in 2015, the singer explained she covers her appearance in order to release hits without being 'picked apart' for her image or age.

She said: 'I'm just trying to work out a way to be a singer and to create cool content. I'm willing to do that as an entertainer, but I'm not willing to give up my actual self.

'I would like not to be picked apart or for people to observe when I put on ten pounds or take off ten pounds or I have a hair extension out of place or my fake tan is botched... most people don’t have to be under that pressure, and I’d like to be one of them.'

She added that she would rather not be deemed an 'older' woman in pop at 42, and simply wants listeners to appreciate her music for what it is.

'Creating a sort of inanimate blond bob and allowing other people to play the role of the pop singer, it affords me a little bit more freedom in terms of my expiration date,' she added.
