CLINTON – Don Ricard, a Raritan Township resident and branch vice president of the Clinton office of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in New Jersey and Rockland County, New York, was recently honored by the real estate company with its fourth annual Michael Scott Leadership Award. Ricard manages approximately 70 affiliated real estate agents representing home buyers and sellers in Hunterdon, Somerset, Sussex and Warren counties.

Ricard was recognized on Nov. 28 at the company’s annual manager appreciation dinner at Carmine’s Italian Restaurant in New York City. The award was presented by Hal Maxwell, president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in New Jersey and Rockland County, New York; Kate Rossi, regional executive vice president of the eastern region of NRT LLC; and Debbie Ricard, Don’s wife.

The Michael Scott Leadership Award was established to celebrate the life and achievements of Michael Scott, who was a greatly admired and respected office manager for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. For 14 years, Scott led the company’s top-ranked Westfield East office.

“I am very proud of Don, who exemplifies all the qualities that made Michael Scott such a remarkable leader,” said Maxwell. “Don is passionate about the real estate business and shares that enthusiasm with the agents he mentors. In his long tenure with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Don has helped many agents to maximize their potential while exceeding their clients’ expectations. He believes in making a difference in his community, and has given back both on his own time and as leader of the Clinton office.”
