RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — A 911 call from the scene of a Raleigh triple shooting outside a restaurant early Sunday said one person was bleeding seriously from a gunshot wound.RELATED:Man charged after 3 wounded in shooting at Raleigh restaurant

The 911 caller was outside Red Bowl Asian Bistro in the Plantation Point Shopping Center after the shots were fired around 1:45 a.m.

The caller described a man who was lying in the parking lot after suffering a gunshot wound.

The victim was breathing and alert after the shooting, the 911 caller said. The caller said the victim was shot “right above the private parts” but there was no additional description.

The caller did not know that two other people were shot during the incident, which happened just outside the restaurant after a fight broke out inside.

The 911 operator told the caller to get towels and apply pressure to the man’s wound.

Cory Jevon Hunter, 24, of Whitakers, was charged Sunday with discharging a firearm within city limits, Raleigh police said late Sunday afternoon.

But, police said they were still looking for a suspect in the shooting.

The three people who were hit by gunfire all ended up at different hospitals, including one who was found at Nash General Hospital in Rocky Mount, police said.

The manager of the restaurant told CBS North Carolina that the restaurant typically closes at 10 p.m., but stayed open for a private party Saturday night.

He said two men in the party got into an argument inside the restaurant and the shooting happened just outside.

One gunshot victim was transported to WakeMed, another victim arrived at Duke Raleigh Hospital and a third gunshot victim was located at Nash General Hospital in Rocky Mount, police said.

The trio all suffered non-life threatening injuries. Police asked anyone with information to call Raleigh CrimeStoppers at (919) 834-HELP.
